I use 4 different browswers for different purposes. That means i'm signing into Lastpass dozens of time a day. The Mac Desktop app saved me from that torture and now it's being dropped!

We truly apologize for the problem. In order to provide a better service and make sure you are able to use all LastPass tools, we have decided to just offer the browser extension for Mac users.
In case you are using multiple browsers at the same time, you should be able to download and install the browser extension for that specific browser.
If the browser extension session does not stay on, please remove the extension, clean your browser, and reinstall the extension.

@Verlaine_LP, why did LastPass make this change? I'm considering moving my subscription for password management to another service. This is a huge inconvenience.

Thank you for reaching out.
There may be another iteration of the Mac Desktop developed in the future, but for the time being we could not redesign this experience in full, along side the other newer versions being released for individual desktop browsers.
