Choosing device when switching from Premium to Free

Let's say I use up my 3 device switches on Lastpass Free and end up with computer access. If I subscribe to Lastpass Premium and then later switch back to LastPass Free, would I be stuck with computer access, or could I choose mobile access instead? Thanks!

Thanks for joining the LastPass Community.

I'd like to address your questions here in 3 parts:

1. When you use up your 3 devices switches under a LastPass Free subscription, you will then be locked into that device 'type' unless you upgrade to a Premium (or higher) subscription.
2. If you upgrade to Premium (or higher), you will be granted unlimited devices to use with LastPass. All subscriptions are annual in nature, so you will have access to LastPass services on this higher level for 1 full year.
3. If you should ever downgrade / cancel your paid subscription, at that point you will be placed into 'Free' status, where you may then choose which device 'type' you prefer: Mobile or Desktop.
