Adding family member - no option for master password

I am attempting to add my wife as a family member to my family account. The invite is successfully sent to her email with a link to "Join Your Family". The link takes you to a log-in page to enter her email and master password but there was never an opportunity to set up the master password, so we cannot get her signed in. How do we get her master password created?

Hi Scoter60, LastPass may be recognizing your wife's email as having an existing LastPass account so is prompting for a master password instead of prompting her to create a master password.

A good way to check if her email is already associated with a LastPass account is to visit the LastPass create an account pageand type in the email you used for the Families invitation. If her email is already associated with a LastPass account, the error 'Email already in use' should appear.

If she doesn't remember the master password associated with that account, she can reset her account so that she can use that email address. Please find the instructions here:https://support.lastpass.com/help/reset-your-lastpass-account-lp010066
