Per checking your account logs, we noticed you had been using the web (lastpass.com) prior the browser extension.
The master password change shows applied as needed, the most common reason for the password to be updated is because the LastPass data was inadvertently saved to your browser's bult-in password manager. Please, check this and delete the entries to avoid changes in the field.
Additionally, we recommend using the LastPass extension.
