Shared a password and DID not make the password viewable yet my VA saw the password

Help! I do not click allow recipient to view password. yet my VA just said show password and saw it????

This has not happened before? How can I ensure and check that no one can hit "show" to see my password? How can I make it so that no one sees my password when I share a link in general? I never hit make it viewable so this is really horrible and scary....

Show password in the extension, or show password on a site being autofilled? The former is under LastPass control, the latter isn't. Once passwords are released into the browser, savvy users can use advanced features like inspect element, or another password manager to capture it. Best practice is to assume the passwords can be seen, and only share with trusted parties.
