I’m exploring ways to manage my passwords more securely, and I use LastPass as my primary password manager. Recently, I started using community platforms like Letterboxd (for movie tracking and reviews) and want to ensure I’m saving and autofilling credentials correctly, while maximizing security.

A few questions I have:

1. What’s the best way to save credentials for sites like Letterboxd in LastPass — should I store them as a regular site entry, or are there advantages to using specific categories or custom fields?
2. When I log in across multiple devices (mobile, desktop, tablet), is there a recommended setting to ensure seamless autofill without compromising security?
3. Are there any common pitfalls or security settings I should enable (like multi‑factor authentication, secure notes, etc.) for community site logins?

There is none specific best way to save it since all the options that we offer to save credentials on your vault work in the exact same way, once you Add information to your account, all your information will be encrypted and no one, not even us have access to see your account data.

Regarding using a specific category, this will help you better to find specific items in your vault related to a specific category. This is more related to how you want to keep your information in order. That a security measure.

About custom fields this option is used by the time we've found a website where the regular autofill that recognize username and password fields do not work. In that scenario we have another option from the browser extension that will collect all the data fill in the login page and that will create a custom field, but that doesn't seem to be the scenario you have.
