Add attachment button does nothing in secure note. I tried it with (the latest) Chrome and Firefox.
(I have never uploaded any attachment before so I doubt I exceeded any quota.)
I have a support ticket open re: this.

Today I have the same problem (Lastpass Family, Google Chrome, binary component installed / active).
I've attached multipe documents and pictures in the (recent) past, but now the 'add attachment'-button does not respond.Has anyone an idea how to resolve this problem? Thanks for your help!! AF
It does not work on Firefox 88.0.1.
However, it DOES work on Microsoft Edge 90.0.818.56
edit: Actually, Microsoft Edge is running an older version of the LastPass extension, 4.70.0. The one on Firefox, 4.71.0.2, was updated 5/6/2021.
Same problem with Firefox.

Yep, I'm having the same problem in Brave browser.
Heard back from LP support :
"The issue you described was recently escalated to our developers, and it is under investigation now. While we do not have an ETA, please rest assured that our team is actively working on a solution in the most expedite way. We'd like to apologize for any inconveniences that this issue may cause you."

Same issue for me. I have other notes with attachments added and was able to do this relatively recently. I have tried in edge, chrome and firefox on multiple computers.
Was finally able to attach using the LP app on my iPhone. No luck using any browser on my PC.
I'm not trying to be obtuse but the problem with LastPass NOT attaching files is current and unresolved, correct?

Correct in that the "attach file" button thru the browser plugin DOES NOT WORK but the "attach file" button DOES WORK if you log in to your vault via the website.
LP support says they've escalated the issue.

I also followed the instructions, reinstalled Chrome and extension, but the problem is still the same .....

We've done a refresh on your LastPass account, could you try uninstalling the LastPass extension then reinstalling from here to see if that button now works as it should?
1. I dont remember I provided my Lastpass username. (It is not the same I logged in to this forum).
2. I uninstalled and reinstalled the chrome extension. But I dont see any changes, the Add Attachment button still doesnt work.
However, problem is still the same.
Now I got the message of an "Critical Internal Error'' with advice to mail the error- code to LastPass support.Hope they respond soon ......

Well, crap!!! Now NOT working (again) for me either. I'll drop LP another ticket that it seems to be broken again.

I tried on the website, not using the extention today (5/20/2021) and received no pop up for selecting a file from my computer. Any advice?
Hi zwernick, there are a slew of us having this exact issue. I've had to use an alternative method of saving secure attachments until LastPass fixes this issue.😕
As of now, 12:00 PM, 5/29/2021 it is not resolved in Chrome.
if you log in to https://lastpass.com/?ac=1&lpnorefresh=1, you can then access notes and upload attachments there

I just successfully uploaded the attachments via the web browser (not the chrome plugin).
I am able to see the attachments if I navigate to the item in the browser, but I still cannot see it via the plug in.
