Not able to copy generated password

More than a couple of times, when signin in a new website LP offers to generate a new password. So far so good. But sometimes, right after creating my new account, LP won't prompt to 'save new login info', hence losing the new generated password.

That's why I always try to manually copy the new generated password and paste it into a note.

But for some reason, I'm not being able to do that anymore. Dunno if it's a browser problem or what.

I'm using Firefox 128.0.2 64bit and up to date.

This is absolutely a bug and a wretched one at that! I'm using Edge and it doesn't work there either. LassPass is getting very shoddy! Glad I don't pay for it. 😣

Password suggestions don't actually copy to clipboard. If you copy it and paste it in notepad, it will actually just be the last thing you copied before that. It doesn't really copy the password suggestion. I can't copy any password from the extension, even if it says "Password copied" it really hasn't. I have to edit the item and copy from there.

Remove Lastpass extension from your browsers and re-add, sign in.

Once you try to copy anything you will be presented with a pop-up to allow Lastpass to Copy and Paste.

I've just had word from support:

"Our engineers just release a new Browser extension version, can you try to uninstall> clear cache and cookies> redownload LastPass and test it again."

Users who have the LastPass extension installed via enterprise management cannot uninstall it.

I.e. my domain admin installs LastPass on managed Chrome browsers by default and it cannot be uninstalled by users.

Under the management page in Firefox for the LastPass extension, you can navigate to the Permissions tab. There I had 'Input data to the clipboard' unchecked. Toggling this allows me to copy and paste the passwords.

With Firefox 131.0.3 uninstall and reinstall fixed it.

I'm having the same issue. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the plugin. Confirmed that I Allowed it to modify data you copy and paste. It still doesn't work. Using Chrome on Windows 11.

Same issue here: I am unable to copy generated passwords to the clipboard. It's been happening for a little while now. Using the LastPass browser extension on Microsoft Edge. LastPass team - please fix this error!

In Chrome this works for me:

Rightclick on LastPass icon
Manage extension
Website-settings
Go to "Clipboard" set to enable

Not working on my Microsoft Edge. Edge claims that Lastpass is allowed to use the clipboard in settings but it has not worked for weeks now.

Same problem here. My solution:

• Right click Lastpass extension icon.

• Select "View web permissions"

• Toggle Clipboard from "Ask" to "Allow"

no browser restart was needed.

Same issue here for a long time. Updating Browser (brave), extension, and removing extension, logging out etc. all didn't help. I used that feature for years, now I can't find a way to copy or autofill the password, it does not work. Please fix.
