Hello,
Thank you for checking the community!
The LastPass vault has a default view, in this case is Grid view. However, when you change the view to List view, the change is saved as one of the preferences. These changes remain as the LastPass is installed, we recommend checking the cache and cookies of the browser are not cleared.
Let us know if further assistance is required.
Thank you,

I'm having the same issue. It used to remember the List View setting, but for about a week now, it keeps reverting to Grid View every time I log in. I change it to List View for the day, but it reverts to Grid View again the next day. Something must have changed with LastPass recently, because it is not remembering my preference here.
My browser settings are set NOT to clear the cache and cookies, as recommended, and my Last Pass view preference still reverts to the grid view every time I login.
I am having the same infuriating problem! How does one "check the cache and cookies of the browser are not cleared?
Does anyone actually help with these problems? The LastPass website (vault) behavior changed some weeks ago for me as well. Previously my settings would hold indefinitely. Now they are no longer saved. LastPass is allowed to save cookies per the browser settings. So it would seem HIGHLY PROBABLE that LastPass itself is causing the problem.
Agreed, I prefer List View and want to know how to change it to this permanently as Grid view is awful. It previously used to stay on List, but know it always reverts back to Grid and is really annoying
Apparently I was correct that LastPass does not actually care about their users. This is not really a support blog. If anyone from LastPass is reading the posts, they are being ignored. There are 5 responses here with no Employees offering to help.
This support Blog merely deceives LastPass into thinking they are offering support when they aren't actually. A support blog without employees to follow up is akin to having a phone line which isn't answered.
To remain a viable service, software must remain user-focused and user-friendly. Ordered text lists are user-friendly. Icons can help, but if they get in they way of someone scanning the alphabetical list, they do not help. Tiled lists, even if ordered, take far more time to scan. They might be popular, but they are not user-friendly. Hands-down, the fastest way to find something is to search an ordered list which does not have pictures or icons to get in the way. This, of course, assumes that the user can read well.
As a LastPass user of approximately 7-8 years, I've had virtually no complaints until now. This experience is causing me to reconsider my loyalty. Lastpass' software has become increasingly "picturesque" and less user-friendly. I don't personally give a rip whether people who can't read can find their information. I want the software to be easy and fast for ME to use. And now I have have reported a problem to which no one seems to listen or care --- I will be watching to see if this problem is addressed.
Thanks,
Brad
