Embedded Tweets being blocked by LastPass (Edge)

Since yesterday embedded Tweets are being blocked in Microsoft Edge in all forums and are just showing as below.

I have no adblockers and disabled extensions one-by-one to find that LastPass was causing it. If I disable LastPass it works immediately, if I enable it, it stops working immediately. I suspect an update has caused this.

Anybody else getting the same?

Sure, you can turn off the new save and fill experience in your vault under "Advanced Options".

Whenimproved save and fill was introduced, I noticed Twitter embeds no longer displayed anything anywhere; it just gave me a black box that reads "Loading tweet...", never actually loading.

It took me a while to realise that was the cause, but it was. I deactivated it, then it worked again.

Now the problem is back. I still have the feature deactivated, so I don't know what's causing it, but deactivating the browser extension makes the embeds work again.

Is there a way to fix that?

This behavior has just started within the last 12 hours so what ever the LastPass extension issue is it is propagating now. I am using a PC and the problem effect both Chrome and Edge.

I don't even have that option turned on under Advanced options that you state is a work-around. So clearly that feature has no effect on the problem. This puts me in doubt that this has been resolved, to say nothing of the stated time frame of "a couple weeks."

My only option seems to be to disable LastPass.

As a paid subscriber will there be prorating of fees?

In that thread LastPass said turning off "improved save and fill" was a workaround. But I have never had that feature turned on and this problem only started yesterday.

I was a little disappointed as a Lastpass Premium subscriber that in that thread they were talking a couple weeks to propagate a solution they had, and now more sowhen it seems doubtful that they understood the problem to begin with.

I am responding to you so you know you are not alone, and to bump this issue

Just merge two threads and mark them as solved without even address the issue of the stated "work around" not actually being a work around to the problem.
