Not receiving confirmation email from lastpass to login

Suddenly not able to login, inspite of entering correct password - prompt is asking to look for confirmation email from last pass which never arrived

Cleared cache, checked spam and junk - no luck but other emails from lastpass arrives (like hint email, etc). Only the confirmation email is not received. How to reach the support team

The portal is useless and suggests to login to reach support team. The issue being not able to login - how to reach support team.

Found work around and it’s working!!!

Steps below

1. Go to lastpass in computer browser.

2. Enter credentials- it will send email for confirmation.

3. Important- don’t close this page

4. Go to your email - confirm it’s you.

5. Come back to same page where it blocked you - enter the password again.

It should work now!!!!

I apologize for the re-sync difficulty this week as we upgrade LastPass user security. If you're still experiencing login trouble after attempting to reset MFA vialastpass.com, and cannot reach Customer Support directly, please click my Community name to send a private message with your full name, LastPass email address, error messaging, 2FA type, and backup email if your primary is not accessible.

I've just seen a recent update for LastPass on Twitter (09/05/23), indicating this has occurred due to planned security upgrades! There is clearly an issue with this upgrade as the expected email after the MFA reset fails to then send the expected and require email, hence account is inaccessible!

I've been using LastPass for years! Confirmation emails not being received after trying to log in to our account.

I've received only one email from LastPass <do-not-reply-support@lastpass.com> with a code after trying to login online and it stated I had to update our MFA code which I managed to do, but no further emails received?

Interestingly, we have two accounts, one paid and the other free and I can log into the free account but not the paid account?

I hope someone can acknowledge this issue and give a guideline for resolution as soon as possible.

That's exactly my experience, except for the last bit, no mails arrived at all. Still your post gives me some hope. Thanks for letting us all know.

Just seen this after posting my own thread. My wife is completely stuck. She can change her master password via SMS recovery, she has OTP codes, but she has no way to disassociate her account from the now deliberately broken 2FA token (and no way to login to raise a support ticket).

The top two threads here suggest there is a common problem to me, we're all in the same boat unable to access our accounts as we're not receiving emails, and can't log support tickets as we can't log in. It's a vicious circle.

My problem appears identical to others, and started immediately after I was prompted to update my Google Authenticator 2FA entry for LastPass. I'd be interested to know if that's common to others? At least one other person mentions that step in their post on the other thread.

I've DM'd "AshC" as the only person from LastPass that has engaged with either thread, so I have my fingers crossed they can help.

I am also having this problem. I am unable to work since my passwords are in the LastPass vault but i cannot login to LastPass because i never receive the e-mail with the security code to reset the authenticator app

This is abysmal.

I was prompted to update my MFA within Google Authenticator. I did so, and then was asked to login again. Upon login, I was asked to verify via email and never received an email. I reset my password to a brand new password and again - was prompted to verify via email. And now I'm completely locked out of my account across all devices and unable to file a support ticket.

EDIT: Shortly after posting this, I got 10+ emails to my inbox and was finally able to get into my account.

For some reason I am not being allowed to send you a direct message.

I have been trying to log in to my LastPass vault on a secondary device that has used it before but receive a message that an authentication email has been sent, however I never receive it. I do receive all other emails from Lastpass, just not that one. The address the message indicates it is being sent to is my primary email address. I have added LastPass to the allowed list on my email but still nothing. I do not have 2FA set up and the hint emails are blank.

Same problem here, all of a sudden my master password did not work any longer. I'm receiving no emails, not for the hint, not for 1 time password, not for account recovery - it's day 9 now.

I received 2 marketing emails in the meantime tho, offering 30% off for a subscription.

Should I subscribe to get help with my account? Is this the only way / can you guarantee someone will take the time to solve the access problem for me? I can not work and had to reset most of my passwords already.

Also I can not send private messages, nor does react to messages (they just respond going to the support page, but the support pages asks for login to access support, which is what I'm trying to solve in the first place).

Please, is there any solution to get access to all of my passwords? To receive emails? To attempt a account recovery? I will pay any amount to get out of that hostage situation.

I was unable to log in when my mobile phone was using a new 4G network. I tried several times but it wouldn't let me log in until I logged in on a computer to change the multi-factor authorisation (MFA). So it sent several emails, for failed login attempts without updating MFA and another one for logging into the computer. I approved the login request in each email, but it still would not allow me to log in to the mobile and wouldn't send any more emails to approve the login. Eventually I changed my phone data from 4G from the phone network over to WiFi from the router in my home and suddenly I could get through to the MFA screen and then log in with the MFA code. Glad I got in eventually, but it makes me worry if it will lock me out when I travel overseas, buy a local sim for data and don't have access to the recognised WiFi connection.
