How to improve performance of "Lastpass for Safari"

Up until yesterday I was using the Lastpass app for Mac OS. It appears that application is obsolete and replaced with a "Lastpass for Safari" plugin which runs horribly slow.

Is there anyway to improve the performance on this? I am using a Macbook Pro with an M1 Pro cpu.

I hope this message find you well. The Mac OS app was deprecated and LastPass for Safari is the new option. I will recommend you uninstall completely LastPass app (if is still install) and extension completely from your computer just put them in the trash and clear the trash for any LastPass app or log that you have inside the trash. Once you delete it, go to Safari > Settings or Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data > Delete LastPass cookies > Quit Safari.

Then you can reinstall LastPass from the App Store in your Mac and re-enable the LastPass extension on Safari for use on all websites. Inside App Store you will find it as LastPass for Safari.
