Not receiving login verification emails

Even if someone guessed your master password correctly, they are not going to be able to sign in without also having access to your security email and the verification email that would be triggered. I will PM you about your security email address.

Verification emails are only sent when the email and master password are correct, but we do not recognize the device or IP address you are signing in from. The emails come fromif you are not receivingthe emails there 3 possibilities:

The issue is you master password does not match.Remember, the master password is 12 or more characters long and has at least one upper and lower case letter, number and symbol. It is also case sensitive so you may want to type it out in a text editor to check exactly how it is being entered.
You have a separate security email setup on your account and the verification emails are going there.
The verification emails are being being caught in a SPAM filter and you need to add to your trusted senders list.

I apologize, that message should only show when you enter the correct password. After looking up your Community email in our LastPass admin center, I can see that the password was not entered correctly. If you had previously set up a recovery method, then you can follow the directions for any of them here: https://support.lastpass.com/help/recover-your-lost-master-password-lp020010

If not, then you might need to reset the login itself.

I tried logging in via extension/website. Both gave me the prompt. Once I searched my backup email for the emails from the email address provided below I saw the verification emails and I was able to try and login again and get into my account.

I looked through my inbox and spam and for some reason never saw these emails appear.

Once I searched that exact email I saw all of the verifications appear.

I have the same issue - do you get the same issue when logging in outside of the extension?

Today when I tried to log into lastpass I got a message popup asking me to check my email, I assume this email is to authenticate me after my internet modem has changed it's IP address.

The email unfortunately has not arrived, I have checked my spam folder and tested my email to ensure it is working correctly. I don't have a secondary email set up with lastpass.

Does anyone have a fix for this problem or know if there is an issue with the lastpass email server?

I see that you have a Hotmail address, please locate the Safe Senders List and add ouremail address to it. It seems Hotmail.com and Outlook.com both filter out our verification emails before reaching the customer so they don't even show up in your SPAM folder. You will need to sign in again after doing this so that a new email is triggered.

@ds179That old email address that you mentioned is still the security email address on your account. As mentioned in other replies you will need to open a support ticket and have your identity verified so you can sign in and then remove that email from your account.

I've checked our email system and do see that LastPass Verification emails are being sent to your email.
We would recommend checking your email account in a browser, instead of through a mail app or mail program, and making sure thatthese emails aren't being sent to the junk/spam folder instead of your inbox. We would also recommend checking your email settings to be sure no LastPass or LogMeIn email addresses are being blocked or are on the blocklist/blacklist. Additionally, please be sure these email addresses are added to your allowlist/whitelist in your email settings:support@lastpass.com,do-not-reply-support@lastpass.com, support-replies@logmein.com and then attempting to log in to LastPass again which will prompt a new Verification Email to be sent. The subject line of the email you're looking for is "LastPass Security Notification: Login attempt blocked"

If you've tried all of these above steps and still aren't receiving the verification email, we would recommend reaching out to your email provider to see if there are any blocks or settings on their side that could be blocking these emails from being delivered to you.

You can ignore my last reply, I tried it for the third time and I was able to receive the verification email and am now in.

I see you answer to the problem but no solution. What do I do? I think the problem is that when I started with LastPass years ago I used an email account with unseen.is (). But, unseen.is ceased to exist and I lost that email account. So, I updated my LastPass email to my current email, .

When I first started having this problem with not being able to login to LastPass, the old popped up in the username. I replaced that email with the correct new email () with the correct password, but I still keep getting the prompt to check my email for a verification from LastPass, which never come since, I think, the verification email is being sent to an account that doesn't exist.

I am a premium LastPass subscriber and use it on my iPhone and iPad as well as my Mac. The iPhone and iPad can be logged into since I use my touch for login.

How can I get into my LastPass account on my desktop computer or, for that matter, any other computer that I wish to use?

Also, I checked Spam folder and found one email from LastPass a response to help request on Sept17, which again requires me to access the Unseen.is account, which doesn't exist.

Thanks for your reply @RacheIO, I re-checked my email account and could find no problems. I tried to login again and this time received the email. I have also now started to receive all the missing lastpass emails from the last two days... I'm putting this one down to my email provider 🙂

I did addto my white list in my email accounts. I then tried to login, but the verification emails were not received.

Re: hotmail account; it appears that when you buy a MS product, MS automatically give you a hotmail account, which I have not set up. I still would like to see the hotmail address that you suggest is mine.

Thank you for responding. As far as I know, I do not have a hotmail account. I entered "hotmail.com" in my address bar and Microsoft came up. I went to login with Microsoft and the only emails that came up to verify/change password were a gmail and a protonmail, no hotmail. Are you sure that the hotmail that you saw as me? Can you give me that email address so I can see if I recognize it as mine? There is a possibility that I had a hotmail account many years ago (10+?) and if it still exist that may be what you saw and I would like to close (which I thought I did).

Thank you for advising on opening a security ticket. Unfortunately, for me to submit a support ticket, I need to sign in, which is my problem - it will not let me sign in.

I entered into the search bar in the support section, "How do I open a support ticket?" . This is what I got -

The above linked post was from 2019 and indicates that there is no LastPass support.

It gives link that doesn't work.

My earlier inquires indicate that I have to be logged in to open a support ticket. My problem is that I can't login it - that's what I want support to help me with.

Thank you for your help! I was able to figure out how to open a support ticket. For those having the same problem and having a difficult time figuring out how to open a support ticket:

You have to go enter your question in the search bar in support
choose the question that is close to your problem
scroll down and select 'Contact Support'

If you don't choose the question, you can't get to the option to contact support and open a ticket.

I'm not receiving the verification email from lastpass but all other notification emails I'm receiving:

1. Log-in blocked due to multiple attempts

2. Reset Password

Only the verification email, I'm not receiving.

I reviewed your account and do see some failed logins due to an incorrect username or master password being entered, not due to needing to verify your login via email. If email verification is needed, a verification email is sent within a minute or two of the correct master password being entered, but only when the correct master password is entered is the email sent.Please double check how the master password is being entered, please rememberit is case sensitive, must include at least one upper and one lower case letter, number and symbol and be at least 12 characters long. Please also try entering your username/email in all lowercase when logging in as well.

Yes,a verification email is sent within a minute or two of the correct master password being entered when logging in to LastPass. I've reviewed your account again and see that all of the login attempts from October 19 and 20, 2021 are failing due to the incorrect master password being entered. A verification email will be sent to you only when the correct master password has been entered at login (the email takes a few minutes maximum to be sent to you as long as you've followed these steps to make sure LastPass emails will be sent to you at the bottom of the page), and that verification email will be valid for 2 hours after the login attempt with the correct master password was entered.Please double check how the master password is being entered, please rememberit is case sensitive (ensure caps lock is not turned on), and it must include at least one upper and one lower case letter, number and symbol and be at least 12 characters long.

So are you certain that this is not an email verification issue?

Because I have tried all the variations of passwords that I'm usually using especially with the hint.

So I don't know how else I could regain access to the account.

It happens the same to me. But when I click on the "forgot password" button I am receiving the email.

I need to sign in to view some passwords i have. Please i need some help
